Coffee from BOMO Roast
The coffee we'll pour on the platform comes from BOMO Roast, an independent coffee company in Bournemouth that has been going for more than 25 years.
BOMO started out with beans for a classic Italian espresso, sourced from Italy and hand-roasted by a small family roaster in Sicily. Today its blends run from those dark Sicilian roasts, through Tuscan-style blends from mainland Italy, to smoother, lighter blends roasted in the UK.
Hot chocolate
Our hot chocolate comes from BOMO too.
Some of the blends we use in our coffee
Roasted in Sicily
- Arabicaffe Miscela
- Mostly arabica, with a little robusta for body. A traditional Sicilian roast: soft, almost smoky, with a deep burnt-sugar sweetness.
- Arabicaffe Domus
- A dark Sicilian roast, bold and densely creamy, that keeps its character in milk.
Tuscan blends
- Ettico Classico
- A classic, balanced Tuscan blend with plenty of caramel and a lighter floral note.
- Ettico Piacentina
- A Tuscan-style roast, the kind of coffee loved around Piacenza. Distinctive, and strong in milk.
The Option blends
- Option P
- Brazil, Latin America and Asian robusta. Rich and earthy, balanced by caramel sweetness.
- Option C
- Brazil, Honduras and Asian robusta, medium roasted for dark berry, stone fruit and nut.
- Option 1
- Colombia, Ethiopia and Latin America. Smooth and balanced: roasted nut and milk chocolate.
- Option 4
- Central America, Brazil and Indian robusta. Roasted nut and milk chocolate over an earthy base.
- Option 5
- Caramel on the nose, then milk chocolate and citrus in the cup.
